Texaco

A hand-painted mural for Texaco, rendered in the style of vintage Americana roadside signage with the layered, weathered character that comes only from paint applied directly to the wall. A collaboration with Minneapolis artist Thad Hunter, who brought the design to life at full scale.

No vinyl, no ink, no print: everything drawn and painted by hand. The result has the depth and imperfection that can only be made that way, and that gives the space a patina that feels earned.
